Transcription: In December of 1993, Endeavour was launched on the most ambitious shuttle mission thus far, the capture and repair of the Hubble Space Telescope, 43 feet long and 12.5 tons. During four days of televised EVAs, two teams of astronauts replaced gyroscopes, solar panels and fitted HST with a corrective lens system that has produced spectacular images of distant galaxies.
